1.GAS TUBE ARRESTER can protect semipermanently wire
and wireless communication equipment, because it has the self-restoration characteristics
after operation and especially strong impulse current capability, alternating current capability,
as it is over voltage discharging element that protect form abnormal voltage and current of
antenna equipments, modem, computer, CATV, railway and traffic signal equipment of road,
telephone equipment, telephone, telephone switchboard, overvoltage protection of semi-conductor,
mixing contact, induced voltage shich induced power system, surge voltage folw equipments
and communication equipment circuit.
2. Product Spec
1) DC Breakdown (Spark Over) Voltage :
When 100v/s ∼ 2kv/s Rising Voltage is impressed to terminal of Gas Tube Arrester,
DC Breakdown voltage must be within 10∼20% tolerance
2) Impulse Breakdown Voltage
When 100v/㎲ ∼2kv/㎲ Rising Voltage is impressed to terminal of
Gas Tube Arrester Breakdown Voltage must be within tolerance as belowed)
AC Discharge Current
When 5A of AC impressed 5times during 1 sec to L1-E and L2-E at three-min intervals,
DC Breakdown Voltage must be minimum 10A at 50∼60Hz
3) DC Holdover Voltage
In condition of impress DC Voltage of circuit condition prescribed in terminals of
Gas Tube Arrester, DC Impressed Voltage that could be applied
an electric current Impulse Current and cut off Discharge within regulated timje
(within 150ms) at DC Voltage should be at the least 150V.
4) Impulse Life
When Impulse Life of 10 X 1000㎲ 200A is impressed between L1-E and L2-E
at two minute intervals, DC Breakdown Voltage have to stand at min. 100times.
5) Insulation Resistance
It must be Min 10,000MΩ at DC 100V
6) Capacitance
It must be over 3pF at Rising Boltage of 1KHz
